Louisiana United International, Inc. (LUI)  is a civil, constitutional, and human rights organization, especially committed to eliminating unlawful discrimination in the state of Louisiana.  That includes all forms of illegal bias against Louisiana residents, including those historically protected as well as the nouveau repressed.

LUI is a nonprofit, membership-based organization, presently operated on an all-volunteer basis. The organization, its leaders, and other active members work diligently to combat and expose public sector corruption within Louisiana. That work regularly calls for in-depth research and investigations as well as state-wide, national and even international outreach.

Membership Benefits

In addition to being part of one of the most effective grassroots, good government advocacy groups in America, LUI members have the benefit of LUI’s commitment to mutual support among members and other compatible advocates.  Plus,  LUI members have priority access to a variety of public service programs that LUI operates independently or in conjunction with close allies.

Leadership

Make no mistake, LUI  is a force to be reckoned with because its leaders are forces to be reckoned with and one of them, Belinda Parker-Brown, is the organization’s CEO.  She co-founded LUI with her husband, Mr. Carl Brown.  As social justice leaders and private individuals, both are  exceptionally compassionate, committed to the cause of justice, knowledgeable, talented, skilled, astute, and visionary.  Both are very  receptive to inclusiveness.  As LUI’s CEO, Parker-Brown works with advocates across a super wide spectrum of philosophies and lawful tactics as long as their first objective is justice as opposed to selfish advancement.
